Important updates!
Hi, folks. Some important information was shared this morning... There is NO BIBLE FELLOWSHIP next Sunday, July 4! When we DO return, we will be meeting in the Gym Building, room D206! It's on the main floor, and to the right in the classroom hallway. The website URL will NOT CHANGE. We're still across from the choir in other ways.
Prayers/Praises page
Remember that you can add your own prayer requests and praises on the Prayers/Praises page using the comments box at the bottom. And whether you use that method or email me to add them to the running list, include your name so we know where the request is coming from. We can lift you up as well!
Washing Other People’s Feet
7 Reasons We Have Difficulty Washing Each Others Feet
1. We lack assurance of who we are. Jesus was not humiliated by humility.2. We fear leaving the comfort of the familiar. John 13:3- Jesus got up from the table.3. We have to lay aside our outer garments. True servants are willing to be vulnerable.4. Our pitchers are empty. When we fail to be filled we have nothing to pour out.5. We do not like feet. They are smelly, dirty and calloused. Facing the calloused areas of others might remind us of our own.6. We must get down on our knees and allow ourselves to be in a lower position. John 3:30 & Matt 25:407. Important: We refuse to let Christ wash our own feet. John 13:8 "No," said Peter, "you shall never wash my feet."
Have you learned how to let Christ minister to you?
